Most of the beaches are found on the western side of the island.  It is not uncommon to see groves of coconut trees lining the white, sandy beaches. Relax, soak up the sun and enjoy.  No wonder it is a favourite spot for international travellers.

One of the best-loved beaches is the White Sand Beach.  It is one of the longest beaches on the island and is 2 km. long.  Many affordable hotels, bungalows and resorts are found there.

Statistics show that 655,000 tourists travel to Koh Chang annually.  Some of their favourite activities are elephant trekking, driving quads, kayaking, jungle trekking and fishing.  Some choose to take cooking lessons and take a class or two to learn to prepare Thai cuisine.  Would you believe that some travellers even have a Buddhist style wedding ceremony, while vacationing in Koh Chang?
