When in a Muslim mosque, women are to be covered with a long skirt or slacks. Their arms should be covered by wearing long sleeves and their top is to be buttoned to the neck. Women are also to have their hair covered with a scarf. Men are to wear hats. Everyone is to take their shoes off before going into a mosque.
In a Buddhist temple, where the main image of Buddha is, do not wear shoes.
